This course is designed for novice or young hunters, ages 9 years and above, and will cover both Classroom AND Field Training material (10 hours in total).  The course covers the core competencies of firearm and hunting safety, hunting ethics and wildlife conservation. All materials are provided.  The Hunter Education Classroom portion lasts a maximum of 6 hours of classroom instruction. This time does not include registration, breaks, test administration and certification card distribution. Courses are taught by certified volunteer instructors, and the fee for certification is $15.  Pre-registration is required, and an additional $7 will be collected for Lunch.

Participants are encouraged to bring snacks and drinks (no alcohol).
