Visiting a church can be a frightening thing…
Maybe you are returning to church, or coming for the very first time… You may feel like people are watching you or maybe that people will judge you. “Will the preacher condemn me from the stage?” “Will people judge me if I look differently than they do?” We’ve all had those same questions about our “first day” at church.
Some things to know: You will find we are a very friendly group of folks. If you don’t understand something, just ask. Here is a quick summary of what you can expect at our church to help avoid any worries. You will find helpful information on location, times, dress, and campus layout.
What Time are Services?
The Sunday morning experience begins at 9:15 am with Bible Study Groups for all ages in different areas around the church. Don’t worry, though; we have a great team of greeters who will gladly welcome you and show you where to go. After Bible Study, we gather for our morning worship service at 10:30 am in the Worship Center.
On Sunday afternoons at 6:00 pm we gather again for a casual time of discussion, digging deeper into the themes discussed in the morning worship service.
We meet for bible study on Wednesdays, too. At 6:30 pm we host various activities for all ages–the AWANA Program is offered for children in grades 1st-6th, and our youth gather with other students grades 7th-12th for a great time of fun, games, and worship in the Flood Student Ministry Youth Room, and our adults meet for Bible Study and Prayer in the Fellowship Hall.

Where Do I Go on the Campus?
Our Worship Center is the large building located on the far right as you enter the campus, and the main doors are designated by the signage on the covered awnings outside the building.
Our Fellowship Hall and Education Building are accessible from the central doors on the church campus.
Each of our respective Children’s and Youth Ministries are located on the southern most portion of the campus or via the covered drive on the far left of the building.

What Do I Wear?
This is easy — wear whatever makes you comfortable. We are a church for all God’s people and accept them as they are. There is no need to dress up unless it puts you at ease.
What About My Children?
If you have preschool or elementary children, plan to arrive a few minutes before the start of the worship service or Bible study hour to get your children settled. All of our preschool classes are located in our nursery on the far left side of the building. Our children’s ministries are located upstairs in the vKidz class areas. Our adult volunteers provide loving care and age appropriate Bible teaching for all preschool and elementary children.
